Environmental Compliance Review of Pesticide Manufacturing Facility

ARC Environmental was engaged to provide an assessment of the compliance status of a Victorian pesticides manufacturing facility against the Environment Protection Act 2017, Environment Protection Regulations 2021 and other relevant environmental legislation.

The scope of works included:

• Review of applicable site documentation and processes
• Develop an Assessment Framework for the compliance assessment
• Conduct a compliance review based on relevant legislative regulations and applicable guidance
• Presented the gaps assessment with a priority ranking for actionable improvement

The Site operates under a current EPA Licence issued by the Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA), for prescribed activity G01, Chemical Works. EPA expects licence holders to have a robust system in place to ensure their environmental performance is adequately assessed and demonstrated to comply with their licence and the GED.
